Tip Top Day from Top of the Hat - A Riddle

Lone time, long days on the trails or a bike, have a cleansing effect.  These - not only for time to clear the mind, but also for using the legs and lungs.  All good for the heart, one of fun side effects that I have experienced is the ability to think way out side the box!

A riddle once I did make; it was my surroundings for goodness sakes.  I have always been amused by this riddle, and share it whenever I can.  Here it is:

Where are you standing when the treetops and trunks are at the same level?  (Answers below.)

Then there was the day that everything clicked, I made up two more…

What is hard as a rock (this is the funny part) and sits shoulders above the rest?  (Try this on a friend!)

What feels like a tree and would like the gift of sight?

You might ask... "What is the difference between a riddle, a limerick, and a rhyme?"

Riddle: a statement, question, or phrase having a double or veiled meaning, put forth as a puzzle to be solved

Rhyme: is a repetition of similar sounds in two or more words, most often at the end of lines in poems and songs

Limerick: is a short, humorous, often a nonsense poem, especially one in five-line anapestic or amphibrachic meter with a strict rhyme scheme (AABBA)

Okay so mine aren’t much better than Laffy Taffy, BUT it all reminds me not to take myself too seriously!  Most importantly, to take time for laugh and rest, to live with zest!

Answers:
